Distressed Overdyed Boiled Wool Jacket by Comme des Garçons Homme Plus

This garment-dyed boiled wool jacket is from the Autumn — Winter 2001 — 2002 collection. It has a classic zip-up cut with deliberately short sleeves. The sleeves are short to the point of being almost 3/4 length (please refer to the measurements below).

The outer fabric is thick boiled wool bouclé fabric with some natural piling. The jacket is fully lined in tartan-patterned cotton over-dyed in deep navy colour. The lining is visible at the back, giving the impression of the wool outer having shrunk from washing, leaving the lining hanging out.

The jacket has two side pockets and one single welt pocket, typically found on formal suit jackets. The sleeves are fastened with misshapen “melted” buttons.

Condition: Excellent pre-owned.

Fabric composition: 95% wool and 5% nylon, lining 100% cotton.

Please check the actual measurements: armpit to armpit is approx. 21 inches/53 cm, total length (shoulder seam to bottom) is 23 inches/59 cm, shoulder (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) is 18 inches/46 cm, inside sleeve (armpit seam to cuff) is 16 inches/41 cm, outside sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) is 21 inches/53 cm.
