These vintage jeans are from ca. 2002 — 2004. They were made in Japan of premium-quality sanforized raw unwashed indigo-dyed denim and with several years of wear have acquired such signs of natural aging as fading at creases and folds, slight scratches on the metal buttons and some rubbed-off areas and fading of the silver Dior print on the leather patch inside the waistband. The Japanese, or "made in Japan / MIJ" Dior Homme jeans considered to taper more, stretch less and be of higher price and quality compared to made in Italy or "MII" Dior Homme denim.

The jeans are the most popular tapered-leg 19 cm cut size in reference to the hem measurements of the jeans in waist size 32 inches. This pair being tagged 29 inches actually has a 18 cm hem. The jeans are classic Dior Homme slim fit with low rise. The jeans have a concealed hook and eye closure and a button fly. All metal buttons and rivets are signed YKK New Max on the back. Amber-coloured stitching. The jeans are a classic 5-pocket cut with the rear pockets featuring the Dior Homme's signature scar stitching. A satin-finish polished metal bar engraved with the CD logo on the belt loop.
