Undercover Co., Ltd. and a fellow Japanese brand Rats joined forces in late 2008 on the “Viper Studs” capsule collection, which consisted of brass and steel studded leather belts and bangles. This unique bracelet was offered as part of that collection.

The bangle features brass rectangular convex-shaped studs with black matte coating positioned in four rows over the back leather base, hand-stitched and burnished at the edges. Two conventional (or belt) type buckles with a frame, bar and prong are used for closure.

The bracelet sports dual branding as both companies logos are embossed onto its tip. Although designed jointly, the bracelet is made by Undercover, which is reflected in the size tag on the underside bearing the name Undercover Co, Ltd., as well as listing the size of the bracelet (M), materials used (brass and cow hide) and the country of manufacture (Japan).

The bracelet is 5 cm wide, its wide is adjustable – it fits a 17 to 21 cm wrist.

The bracelet is brand new and unworn, it comes with an Undercover tag and care instruction tag, as well as original presentation box signed Rats Undercoverism on the lid.

This collectible wallet is from the one-off Comme des Garçons x Walt Disney “Oswald the Lucky Rabbit” collection released ca. 2007. This limited-run range of products included clothing and accessories all featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a character invented in 1927, one year prior to Micky Mouse.

The wallet features a graphic print of Oswald on the front and his brief biography on the back. As it features a depiction of an original Disney character, the wallet is an officially licensed Walt Disney product and as such has a special Walt Disney Authentic Clothing tag attached to it to attest to its authenticity.

The wallet is made in Spain in premium calf leather. It has one large compartment for banknotes, four card compartments and a coin purse with a Fiocchi snap fastener. The wallet is securely closed with a vintage-treated brass YKK zipper on three sides and has a piece of leather attached to the zipper puller for added comfort of opening. The Comme des Garçons and Made in Spain wording is embossed in gold letters in the bottom left-hand corner inside the wallet.

The wallet measures 12.5 cm x 10 cm and is available in off-white/ivory colour.

Condition: The wallet is brand new and comes complete with all original tags and Comme des Garçons presentation box.

This unique garment-dyed long-sleeved t-shirt / top was released as part of the Comme des Garçons Homme Autumn — Winter 2004 — 2005 season collection. Designed by Junya Watanabe who’d been designing the line for a few years by that time, it features a bold shiny foil transfer print of the Comme des Garçons Homme logo across the front.

The top has a crew neck and plain back with no prints. The fabric is heavier-weight 100% soft cotton.

This unique t-shirt was re-constructed by eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man from an original t-shirt made in the USA by Champion, an American manufacturer of sports clothing from North Carolina, founded in 1919. The company is famous for manufacturing uniforms for athletes, particularly for the National Basketball Association teams in the USA. Champion-branded sports clothing achieved iconic status in the 90′s being strongly associated with the hip-hop and urban fashion.

Designed by eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man for their Autumn — Winter 2006 — 2007 season collection, the tee was re-cut to assume a slimmer shape and garment-washed for unique “worn-in” appearance and texture. Camouflage print was subsequently applied in strokes of green, brown and white dye. The shirt was then subject to another heavy wash so as to make the dye rub off and develop cracks where it was applied in thicker layers.

Features: Unique fabric texture and faded due to the special processed finish, heavy-weight cotton fabric, contrasting white stitching, embroidered Champion’s logos on the chest and sleeve.

The t-shirts were made in conjunction with Vanson Leathers, the leading American manufacturer of superior-quality motorcycle apparel hailing from Boston, Massachusetts.

The t-shirt is sewn of heavier-weight soft cotton fabric and is a fitted cut classic for motorcycling clothes. It features a bones print in either dark grey or black across the front, as well as Vanson Leathers logo screen-printed in black on the chest and Vanson graphic wording screen-printed in contrasting white on the back.

This interesting version of a lumberjack tartan check shirt is from the Comme des Garçons Homme Autumn — Winter 2005 — 2006 season collection. The shirt is almost jacket-like in cut with 2 small pleats at the back and square hem line. In addition to a classic patch-style pocket on the left-hand side of the chest, it features an extra set of patch pockets positioned one on top of the other, one with a YKK zip fastener closure and one with a vintage Selex snap button. The shirt is closed at the front with over-sized genuine mother-of-pearl buttons.

The shirt is sewn of extra heavy-weight cotton fabric woven in a classic navy and green Tartan check pattern. The fabric has been over-dyed in dark navy dye and then washed to create “unique distorted and creased texture”.

Condition: The shirt comes in excellent pre-owned condition. A spare button has been removed from the care tag.

This distressed cotton twill short-sleeved jacket is from Undercover Co., Ltd. / Undercoverism Spring — Summer 2011 season Underman collection. The jacket is made from wonderfully soft distressed cotton fabric, over-dyed in charcoal grey and heavily washed with small discoloured spots subsequently applied all over the garment. The jacket is a loose fit with concealed button closure to the front and multiple pockets — one patch pocket to the left sleeve, two patch pockets to the sides and two slit pockets to the chest with vintage silver-coloured metal Snapper fasteners.

The collar can be fastened by means of a button. The label inside depicts a scene from the Underman collection advertising campaign. Undercover Underman collection label in contrasting white colour is positioned one the left side pocket. Two panels of Velcro hoops are positioned over the side pockets for decoration.

A beautiful and highly functional piece of clothing perfect for spring and summer.

The Joulong jacket comes from Visvim x Moncler Autumn — Winter 2011 — 2012 season “Moncler V” collection. The collection, which comprises outerwear and footwear was inspired by actual 1950′s and 60′s pieces from the Moncler’s archives re-imagined by Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim. Moncler’s expert knowledge in manufacturing high end mountaineering and skiing gear meets the pure forms and understated accents of Visvim’s visual aesthetics.

Vintage alpine clothing’s influence is apparent in the Joulong model with its washed-out colours, lightly distressed and “dirtied” Gingham check wool outer fabric and, most importantly, the longer and slimmer silhouette meant to fit snug to the body. A further look reveals more beautiful details — copper-plated vintage-treated snap buttons, drawcords with leather toggles to adjust the bottom hem and hood and removable tri-colour straps inside the jacket to carry it on the shoulders should the weather get too hot. The down-filled hood is also removable and the strip of fabric it is attached to by means of snap fasteners can be hidden inside the collar when the hood is removed.

The jacket is closed by means of a silver metal front zip fastener with a leather puller and a panel of lightly distressed silky woven band in Moncler’s signature tri-colour palette is positioned under the zip. The gilet has two pockets to the sides with press stud closures and one inner pocket with a zipper closure. The sleeve cuffs are elasticated to keep the warmth in and the chill out.

Both, Moncler and Visvim are famous for using the best available materials for the clothes they make and pieces from their collaborative Moncler V effort are no exception — the jacket features highest-quality Swiss-made Riri zip fasteners throughout, the exterior is pure virgin wool blended with polyamide for strength and water resistance, the lining is moisture-wicking polyamide fabric and the filling is finest quality duvet neuf, goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4). This down-filled polyester blend and tweed jacket is from the Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2011 — 2012 season collection designed by Thom Browne.

As with all Moncler Gamme Bleu garments the jacket is made from the finest fabrics – the shell is moisture-repellent polyester and polyamide blend with the sleeves made of 100% virgin wool tweed fabric and the lining being Thom Browne’s signature stripey Supima cotton. The filling is selected goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4), which determines the gilet’s unique lightness and exceptional thermal insulation.

The jacket features a contrasting brown suede shoulder detail, high neck, a full-length solid brass Riri zip fastener front closure, a large concealed chest pocket closed with snap fasteners, two large patch pockets with over-sized flaps to the sides with concealed snap fastener closures, three inner pockets and non-removable down-filled hood adjustable by a drawstring with brass toggles.

All snap fasteners, toggles and zip pullers are made of vintage-treated solid brass and have the Moncler Cockerel logo engraved on them. The back of the collar is decorated with a tab of silky woven band in the signature Moncler’s and Thom Browne’s tri-colour palette.

The jacket features Moncler Gamme Bleu branding — a blue and off-white faux suede Moncler logo patch to the left sleeve, Moncler Gamme Bleu wording stamped inside the snap fasteners and a Moncler Gamme Bleu label inside.

Inspired by actual 1950′s and 60′s pieces from the Moncler’s archives, items from this collection were designed by Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim. A Brooks Brothers indigo-dyed chambray long-sleeved shirt as customized by eYe JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN for the Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 season collection. The shirt was crafted by re-working an existing Brooks Brothers long-sleeved shirt originally sewn of premium indigo-dyed chambray (lightweight denim) fabric into an informal slim-cut shirt with a rounded hem.

The shirt features a button-down collar, as originally introduced by Brooks Brothers in 1896, with points buttoned down by buttons on the front of the shirt. The yoke of the shirt is made of coarsely woven 100% wool tweed and lined in a camouflage-patterned light-weight cotton fabric in a dark green and brown colourway. Military-style khaki ripstop cotton and nylon blend fabric inserts are positioned on the back of the sleeves and armpits. The side seams at the hem are reinforced by small, triangular shaped hem gussets made of the same ripstop material.

The lower parts of the sleeves and the patch-type front pocket are made of a lighter-shade washed chambray fabric. The striking effect achieved by use of different fabrics with contrasting textures and colours is further enhanced by triple-stitching the seams in white. The patch-type chest pocket is reminiscent of utility pockets found on workwear rather than formal attire and has a pen hole embroidered in red. Pieces of contrasting white cotton band are applied onto the seams where the collar and cuffs of the original shirt would have been cut so as to make them fit the re-worked cut of the shirt.

This hoodie is a fruit of the collaborative effort between Nike Sportswear and Loopwheeler for the Autumn — Winter 2009 season season. The hoodie is crafted of premium heavy-weight 460g cotton fleece knitted in Japan on antique loopwheel machines dating from 1920′s and 1930′s.

The theme of that season’s Loopwheeler x Nike Sportswear collection was “Rivalry”, which is reflected in the embroidered crest patch, attached to the left-hand side of the front of the jacket. The crest features Loopwheller’s emblem, Syake-kuma or Salmon bear juxtaposed with the Beaver, representing Beaverton, OR, home of Nike’s headquarters. Number 24 on the crest signifies the number of revolutions per minute, the speed at which cotton yarn is spun into fabric on the loopwheel machines, whilst number 10, which stands for a playmaker or attacking player in football, basketball, etc., is used to signify creativity and the moving force of progress.

A lightweight water-resistant running jacket from the Gyakusou collection designed by Jun Takahashi for Nike. The jacket is an intricate design with raglan sleeves and all seams on the outside so as to allow the runner maximum comfort and freedom of movement. This down-filled wool and cashmere coat is from the Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 collection designed by Thom Browne. Pieces from this collection are regarded by many to be the ultimate translation of the designer’s aesthetic into the context of winter sports clothing and, as such, are highly collectable.

As with all outerwear garments from early Moncler Gamme Bleu collections this coat is hand-made from the finest fabrics – the shell is a wool and cashmere mix and the lining is heavyweight Supima cotton. The filling is selected goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regulation classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4), which determines the jacket’s unique lightness and exceptional thermal insulation.

The coat is constructed combining Mocler’s expertise in sports and outdoor clothing with intricate traditional tailoring techniques. Pockets filled with down are inserted between the shell fabric and lining and the jacket is then finished by hand-stitching the seams in the tradition of haute couture.

Thom Browne’s style is instantly recognizable in the jacket’s shape, which fits close to the body yet does not impede the movement. The cut is that of a pea coat with a double breasted front and double rear vent. The black snap fasteners with the engraved Moncler Cockerel logo are used in place of traditional buttons on the front and the rear vent. Smaller snap fasteners are used at the cuffs with matching black grosgrain trim backing.

The coat has two external side pockets and three internal pockets. The back of the collar is decorated with a tab of silky woven band in the signature Moncler’s and Thom Browne’s tri-colour palette.

The coat features Moncler Gamme Bleu branding — a blue and off-white Moncler logo patch on the left sleeve and Moncler Gamme Bleu label inside.

Actual measurements (the measurements are taken from the outside of the coat with it lying flat; it is padded so it will fit a little smaller than the measurements suggest): armpit to armpit approx. 20 1/2 inches/52 cm, total length (base of collar to bottom) 28 inches/71 cm, shoulder (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) 17 1/2 inches/45 cm, outside sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) 25 inches/64 cm, inside sleeve (armpit to cuff) 18 inches/46 cm.

Condition: The rear part of one of the snap buttons on the back of the coat’s front appears to have been changed as there is some stitching around it. The stitching is very discreet and can only be found on very close inspection. It cannot be seen as it is on the rear side. Except for this, the jacket is in absolutely pristine, new and unworn condition. It comes with a spare set of stud buttons in an off-white Moncler Gamme Bleu cloth bag closed with a drawstring.

The coat is crafted in Italy.
