The Derge mountain jacket is from the Autumn — Winter 2011 — 2012 season Moncler V collection. Inspired by actual 1950′s and 60′s pieces from the Moncler’s archives, items from this collection were designed by Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim. Moncler’s expert knowledge in manufacturing high end mountaineering and skiing gear meets the pure forms and understated accents of Visvim’s visual aesthetics.

The Derge model is heavily influenced by vintage skiing apparel and these influences are apparent in the jacket’s washed-out colour palette, lightly waxed cotton outer shell, woven bouclé cotton shoulder panel detail and, most importantly, the longer and slimmer cut meant to fit snug to the body. Hidden elasticated draw-cords with vintage-treated copper-plated adjusters and deliberately aged leather toggles are there to adjust the width of the hood and waist, thus helping to keep the warmth in and the chill and wind out. The jacket is closed by means of a matt-finish zinc-plated solid copper zip fastener with a leather puller and a panel of coarsely woven cotton fabric in a matching colourway is positioned just underneath the zip for extra insulation.

Removable tricolour braces are provided inside the jacket to carry it on the shoulders should the weather get too warm to wear it. The down-filled hood is also removable and the strip of fabric it is attached to by means of snap fasteners can be hidden inside the collar when the hood is removed. The vest jacket has two side pockets with press stud closures and one inside pocket with a zipper closure. The sleeve openings are elasticated to keep the warmth in and the chill out.

A Brooks Brothers indigo-dyed chambray long-sleeved shirt as customized by eYe JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN for the Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 season collection. The shirt was crafted by re-working an existing Brooks Brothers long-sleeved shirt originally sewn of premium indigo-dyed chambray (lightweight denim) fabric into an informal slim-cut shirt with a rounded hem.

The shirt features a button-down collar, as originally introduced by Brooks Brothers in 1896, with points buttoned down by buttons on the front of the shirt. The yoke of the shirt is made of coarsely woven 100% wool tweed and lined in a camouflage-patterned light-weight cotton fabric in a dark green and brown colourway. Military-style khaki ripstop cotton and nylon blend fabric inserts are positioned on the back of the sleeves and armpits. The side seams at the hem are reinforced by small, triangular shaped hem gussets made of the same ripstop material.

The lower parts of the sleeves and the patch-type front pocket are made of a lighter-shade washed chambray fabric. The striking effect achieved by use of different fabrics with contrasting textures and colours is further enhanced by triple-stitching the seams in white. The patch-type chest pocket is reminiscent of utility pockets found on workwear rather than formal attire and has a pen hole embroidered in red. Pieces of contrasting white cotton band are applied onto the seams where the collar and cuffs of the original shirt would have been cut so as to make them fit the re-worked cut of the shirt.

The shirt is garment-washed and intentionally creased. The indigo dye has transferred from the main chambray fabric onto other fabrics used on the shirt, which is most readily observed on lighter-coloured details, such as the band on the collar and cuffs, white stitching and the original Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece (a sheep suspended in a ribbon) logo embroidered in white on the chest.

This down-filled bomber jacket is from Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2009 — 2010 collection designed by Thom Browne. The jacket is constructed combining Mocler’s expertise in sports and outdoor clothing with intricate traditional tailoring techniques. Pockets filled with down are inserted between the shell fabric and lining and the jacket is then finished by hand-stitching the seams in the tradition of haute couture.

This down-filled wool and cashmere coat is from the Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 collection designed by Thom Browne. Pieces from this collection are regarded by many to be the ultimate translation of the designer’s aesthetic into the context of winter sports clothing and, as such, are highly collectable.

As with all outerwear garments from early Moncler Gamme Bleu collections this coat is hand-made from the finest fabrics – the shell is a wool and cashmere mix and the lining is heavyweight Supima cotton. The filling is selected goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regulation classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4), which determines the jacket’s unique lightness and exceptional thermal insulation.

The coat is constructed combining Mocler’s expertise in sports and outdoor clothing with intricate traditional tailoring techniques. Thom Browne’s style is instantly recognizable in the jacket’s shape, which fits close to the body yet does not impede the movement. Designed by Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim for the Moncler V line, this down-filled hooded jacket produced for the current Autumn — Winter 2011 — 2012 season continues in the steps of last year’s collection in terms of re-imagining original 1950′s and 60′s pieces from the Moncler’s archives into contemporary items of clothing, footwear and accessories, which reflect pure forms and understated accents of Visvim’s visual aesthetics and Moncler’s expert knowledge in manufacturing high end mountaineering and skiing gear.

The influences of vintage alpine apparel are immediately apparent in the Lasha jacket with its washed-out colour palette, lightly distressed fabrics and, most importantly, the longer and slimmer cut meant to fit snug to the body. Hidden elasticated draw-cords with vintage-treated copper-plated adjusters and deliberately aged leather toggles are there to help adjust the width of the bottom hem and waist, thus helping to keep the warmth in and the chill and wind out.

The jacket is closed by means of a matt-finish zinc-plated solid copper zip fastener with a leather puller and a panel of coarsely woven cotton bouclé fabric in a matching colourway is positioned just underneath the zip for extra insulation. The down-filled hood is not removable and the width of its opening is adjustable by tri-colour draw-strings with leather toggles. Removable tri-colour straps are inside the jacket to carry it on the shoulders should the weather become too warm to wear the jacket.

These unique working trousers / pants were re-constructed from an original pair of Pointer Brand overall bottoms by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man for the Spring — Summer 2006 season “Re-constructed Workwear” collection. The trousers feature a very interesting cut with the side seam moved to the front and patch back pockets moved to the sides. The leg is quite slim from the knee down. Medium-weight drill fabric is over-dyed in greyish beige colour.

Pointer Brand is the brand name, under which L. C. King Manufacturing Company markets work clothes it manufactures since it was founded in Bristol, Tennessee in 1913 by Landon Clayton King, a breeder of champion birddogs, one of which features on the company’s logo.

One more style from the unique range of jackets, blazers and coats offered by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man as part of their Spring — Summer 2006 Re-constructed Workwear Collection. The range is based on original working garments made by The L. C. King Manufacturing Company, an American manufacturer of traditionally styled workwear from Bristol, Tennessee. The company, founded in 1913, produces hand-sewn bib overalls, coveralls, carpenter jeans, hunting apparel and chore coats from high-quality locally sourced fabrics. The company is still run by descendants of its founder, Landon Clayton King, who was a breeder of champion birddogs and one of them features on the company’s logo.

This particular blazer with a unique cut is re-worked from an existing Pointer Brand cotton twill chore coat. The features retained from the original coat include an original Pointer Brand birddog logo woven patch placed on the chest patch pocket and deliberately aged Pointer Brand silver metal stud buttons juxtaposed with contrasting white plastic buttons in paired-up button-holes, positioned at odd intervals. The blazer is over-dyed in beige-grey colour and features contrasting white double stitching.

The jacket features dual branding — the afore-mentioned Pointer Brand logo patch and an over-dyed Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man label positioned underneath the neckline inside the jacket.

Condition: Immaculate pre-owned. As new.

The collection consisted of a range of clothing, footwear and accessories inspired by actual 1950′s and 60′s pieces from the Moncler’s archives as re-imagined by Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim. Moncler’s expert knowledge in manufacturing high end mountaineering and skiing gear meets the pure forms and understated accents of Visvim’s visual aesthetics.

The influences of vintage alpine apparel are immediately apparent in the Ide vest with its washed-out colours, lightly distressed fabrics and, most importantly, the longer and slimmer cut which is meant to fit snug to the body.

A closer look reveals numerous beautiful details — smaller-than-regular-Moncler plain snap fasteners, vintage-treated drawcords with leather toggles, slightly twisted matt-finish metal zip fastener with a leather puller, removable tricolour straps inside the vest to carry it on the shoulders. The down-filled hood is also removable and the strip of fabric it is attached to by means of snap fasteners can be hidden inside the collar when the hood is removed. The vest has two side pockets with press stud closures and one inside pocket with a zipper closure. The sleeve openings are elasticated to keep the warmth in and the chill out.

Japan-made Levi’s® 501®XX Vintage 1947 Indigo-dyed denim jean in 12 oz redline selvage denim re-constructed by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man into a pair of unique slimmer-cut low-rise trousers. The unique low-rise cut is achieved by removing the original waistband and then placing it lower towards the crotch. The back pockets are removed and re-applied at an angle over patches of a camouflage-patterned light-weight cotton fabric in a dark green and brown colourway. The jeans are lined in the same camo fabric up to the crotch on the front of the leg and roughly calf-high on the back and there is a triple-stitched embroidery where the camo lining is attached.

The hole from the original front button is stitched-over in black thread and a piece of darker-coloured denim fabric is attached to the waistband to extend it. Such original Levi’s features as zinc button fly and copper rivets on front of jeans are retained alongside the original Levi’s “diamond” effect Arcuate designs, double-needle-stitched in lemon yellow and the single-sided Levi’s Capital E pocket tag on the back pockets. There are small holes from the original stitching and darker-coloured imprints from the original back pockets. The front of the legs and the edges of the front pockets exhibit some deliberate fabric distressing. No bar tacking. Double-felled inseam in yellow. The outside seam has redline selvage inside (as does the inside of the top edge of the coin pocket). The jean is made of premium 12 oz right-hand twill weave redline selvage Japanese denim.The jeans feature the infamous Levi’s Two Horse patch in deer skin, notable for its strength and durability.

This down-filled Everest jacket is from Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man Autumn — Winter 2006 — 2007 season collection.

Although being a down-insulated winter garment, the jacket rather resembles a tailored suit jacket or sports coat in its cut, shape and details. The jacket features outer shell sewn of fine 100% wool twill fabric of the kind formal suits are usually made of. Other features normally found on a suit jacket rather than a down-filled puffer jacket are the fitted silhouette with two vertical darts along the front, two-button front closure, two side flap pockets, a single besom breast pocket and notched lapels.

The double side vents, usually associated with British tailoring, are fastened by means of Fiocchi metal snap buttons with the Moncler wording engraved around the edge. The jacket is fully lined in silky cupra fabric, grey with bordeaux and green stripes. The lining has two inner pockets, one of which has a button closure. All buttons are genuine horn.

The jacket is filled with the finest quality duvet neuf, goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4). The use of the best 4-tuft down determines the jacket’s lightness, puffiness and thermal insulation.

Interestingly (and rather uniquely for a Moncler-made jacket), no Moncler logo patch appears on the jacket and the only time the Moncler’s name makes its appearance on the outside of the jacket is the understated engraving of the Moncler wording on the vent’s snap fasteners. But of course, for those who need to be reminded of the jacket’s far-from-humble origins, the Moncler x Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man logo patch is there, sewn to the lining in its usual place just beneath the collar.

The jacket was made in 2006 and has no Certilogo label inside as Certilogo was not there at the time. Moncler started using Certilogo authentication from the Autumn — Winter 2008 — 2009 collection.

This fishtail parka is from Undercover Co., Ltd. / Undercoverism Spring — Summer 2011 season Underman collection. The parka is made from wonderfully soft distressed cotton fabric, over-dyed in charcoal grey and heavily washed with small discoloured spots subsequently applied all over the garment. The jacket features a front YKK zip fastener with a custom-made UISM-engraved distressed metal puller. The fit is loose with the waist and collar adjusted by means of drawstrings. Two concealed snap buttons positioned near the collar are used for extra closure.

Four side pockets (one pocket positioned vertically and one horizontally on each side) are provided for storing things or keeping hands in. A small coin/watch pocket positioned over the left side pocket and underneath white Underman collection label features two brass eyelets for increased ventilation (or merely for the looks). The hood has wire sewn into its edges to shape it any way you want.

The back is adorned with a large print of the logo of CAN, an experimental Western German rock group from 1960s and 1970s.

This collectable wallet is from the ca. 2003 — 2004 Comme des Garçons Homme collection and made in Japan in soft premium calf leather which has been lightly distressed and wrinkled. It features a single internal compartment which can be used for change or cards.

The wallet is a smaller size and ideal for notes or cards. It is securely closed with a brass YKK zipper on two sides. The Comme des Garçons Homme logo is embossed in gold letters on the side of the internal compartment.

The wallet measures approx. 11 cm x 9.5 cm and only available in black.

Condition: The wallet is brand new and comes complete with the original Comme des Garçons Homme tag and white presentation box.

Material: 100% calf hide.

The 1947 501®XX is regarded by many as the ultimate 5-pocket jeans. It is the post-war model, slightly slimmer in cut than its predecessors and sporting the uniform Arcuate design due to Levi’s use of a new technology at the time – double-needle sewing machines. The Arcuate designs are double-needle-stitched in lemon yellow on the back pockets and the the single-sided Levi’s Big E pocket tag is attached to the right pocket.

The fabric in this pair, named Rodeo hero (Lot 47501 – 0073) is indigo-dyed red selvage 14 oz denim, rich blue in colour and amazingly soft. The wash of the jeans gives the impression of the denim fabric having been washed a few times from raw, and is further enhanced with three distressed spot underneath the left side pocket, sand-blasted areas on the knees and seat and whiskering at the crotch to create a replica of a genuine pair of 1947 501′s from the Levi’s archives.

Features: Washed 14 oz Red Selvage right-hand twill denim, 2 rear pockets with hidden rivets and double-needle-stitched Arcuate design, capital E red tab, Two Horse leather patch, V-stitch near the top button, watch (or change) pocket with rivets and redline selvage on the inside of the top edge, single-felled inseam in yellow, bar tacking in black and button-up flies. The jeans are made in Turkey from American XX (top quality) denim fabric.

This waist-length Giubbino jacket is from Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 collection designed by Thom Browne.

As with all garments from Moncler Gamme Bleu collections this jacket is made from the finest fabrics – the shell is heavyweight wool tweed fabric woven in a classic herringbone pattern. The lining is Thom Browne’s signature striped heavyweight Supima cotton. The filling is selected goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4), which determines the jacket’s unique lightness and exceptional thermal insulation.

The jacket is constructed combining Mocler’s expertise in sports and outdoor clothing with intricate traditional tailoring techniques. Thom Browne’s style is instantly recognizable in the jacket’s shape, which fits close to the body yet does not impede the movement. The cut features raglan sleeves, front closure by means of full-length Riri zip fastener and a 9 cm-wide placket with hidden snap buttons, two large vertical pockets with zip closures to the front, three inner pockets, elasticated hem and sleeve cuff bands inside the jacket for superior insulation, waterproof hood with silver toggle adjusters hidden inside the collar.

The jacket features Moncler Gamme Bleu branding — a blue and off-white Moncler logo patch on the left sleeve, Moncler Gamme Bleu label inside and Moncler’s logo stamped on custom-made matte blue-and-white zip pullers.

Up for sale is a pair of slim-cut chinos by Comme des Garçons Homme from the Spring — Summer 2011 season collection. The chinos are sewn of cotton and linen blend medium-weight twill fabric with a slight sheen.

Simple straight-leg cut with medium rise featuring two side and two back pockets. The trousers are over-dyed in deep black and deliberately creased. Single horn button closure and flies closure by way of a silver YKK zip fastener.

Condition: New without tags.

Fabric composition: 60% cotton and 40% linen.

This hooded fitted-cut Maya jacket is one of the limited-run items designed by Moncler in collaboration with rapper and music producer Pharrell Williams for the Autumn — Winter 2010 — 2011 season collection. The Moncler x Pharrell collection is largely influenced by urban culture aesthetics and can be interpreted as commentary on subjects as varied as pacifism and recycling.

This fabric of the jacket features prints of a dense forest photographed at dusk by Keita Sugiura, a Japanese artist. The shoulder patches are made of textiles manufactured by Bionic Yarn, a company owned by Pharrell that makes fabrics from recycled plastic bottles. The jacket features a down-filled removable hood attached to the collar by snap buttons, two outside zipped pockets, an internal zipped pocket, a sleeve pocket with a snap button closure, Fiocchi snap buttons and insulated YKK zip fasteners. The hood and bottom hem are adjustable by way of a drawstring with toggles. The elasticated cuffs can also be adjusted by snap buttons. The lining of the jacket is Moncler’s signature shiny black fabric.

The jacket is filled with the finest quality duvet neuf, goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4). The use of the best 4-tuft down determines the vest’s puffiness, thermal insulation and a unique lightness.

Moncler’s signature logo patch — positioned on the sleeve pocket — was given a complete make-over for the project: the logo and the Moncler wording are embroidered in gold over black background. Moncler’s name and logo are also stamped or printed on zipper pull tabs and press studs.

The jacket comes brand new with tags, spare snap buttons and a Moncler history booklet.
