Re-constructed Garment-dyed eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Dickies Shorts

These re-constructed work shorts are a collaboration between eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man and Dickies, world’s largest workwear manufacturer. Since its beginnings in 1922 in Bryan, Texas, “every piece of Dickies workwear has stood for the quality, toughness, and pride that embodies the spirit of the American worker”.

The shorts are re-constructed from an over-sized pair of ready-made Dickies working trousers sewn of medium-to-heavy weight cotton twill woven in fishbone pattern. The waist of the original Dickies pant is taken in to accommodate for the smaller size. The fabric is over-dyed in olive / khaki colour and the shorts are garment-washed to create the unique texture for a worn-in appearance.

Condition: Good pre-owned. Stitching at the waist has come undone slightly.

Features: flies with a vintage-treated brass zip closure, puller signed JW MAN, two side slit pockets, two back pockets, one of which has a button closure with a genuine horn button, a coin pocket placed lower on the right leg of the shorts with an original Dickies label.

Fabric Composition: 100% cotton.

Available in Size: Waist 33 inches (labelled as S). Actual measurements when laid flat: Waist 16 1/2 inches/42 cm across (33 inches), inseam 12 inches/31 cm, U or rise measurement (from front top of the waistband going under the crotch then to the back top of the waistband) – 26 1/2 inches/66 cm, front crochet (from top of the jean to the crotch – point of intersection of the two legs of the jean) – 11 inches/28 cm, outseam – 23 inches/59.
