Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons x Baracuta Jacket

Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Baracuta Vintage Fit Gingham Check G4 Harrington Jacket
This vintage fit G4 zip-up Harrington jacket is from Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man Spring — Summer 2009 Travel collection. Designed by Junya Watanabe, this classic jacket is made in England by Baracuta, a clothing manufacturer founded in 1937 in Manchester.
Baracuta invented a lightweight cotton jacket with tab collar — the original Harrington jacket, which was worn by Elvis Presley in the 1950s, Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen in the 1960s, punks in the 1970s, The Clash in the 1980s and more recently by Pete Doherty, Thierry Henry and Daniel Craig.
Junya Watanabe’s take on the legendary Harrington jacket is crafted in a lightweight red Gingham check cotton fabric and features a slimmed-down “vintage” cut with raglan sleeves, stand-up rib-lined collar with a 2-button tab, white mesh lining, 2 tab side adjusters with silver buckles, 2 pointed button-up flap slash-type side pockets positioned at an angle and 1 inner pocket, Baracuta-branded horn buttons and the Baracuta Lion logo stamped on silver zip fastener pulls and embroidered on the woven Baracuta Vintage label.
Condition: Brand new with tags.
Fabric Composition: 100% cotton, 100% polyester lining, 100% nylon collar rib.
Available in Size: Medium. Actual measurements when laid flat: Armpit to armpit 21 inches/53 cm, total length (base of collar to bottom) 27 1/2 inches/70 cm, inside sleeve 20 inches/51 cm.
Made in England.
