Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Dickies Re-constructed Pea Coat

This is an original pair of Dickies biboveralls re-worked into a double-breasted jacket / pea coat by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man for the Spring — Summer 2006 season Re-constructed Workwear collection. The fabric is heavier-weight herringbone-patterned 100% cotton twill with amazingly soft feel and drape.

The pea coat features two patch-type chest pockets, two side pocket (one of which has a small coin pocket inside) and two back pockets, sleeve cuffs with hidden stud buttons for closure, contrasting white plastic buttons and white stitching all over. Some fraying in the fabric just over the chest pockets. This is from removing stitches in the original Dickies biboveralls and to be considered a part of the design. Original woven Dickies labels are sewn onto the left chest pocket and right back pocket.

Condition: Immaculate pre-owned, as new.

Fabric Composition: 100% cotton.

Available in Size: Medium. Actual measurements when laid flat: armpit to armpit 22 inches/56 cm, total length (base of collar to bottom) 29 inches/74 cm, shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18 inches/46 cm, inside sleeve 18 1/2 inches/47 cm, outside sleeve 27 inches/68 cm.

The pea coat is crafted in Japan.
