Re-constructed Overdyed Reversible Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Pointer Brand Jacket
This re-constructed overdyed reversible jacket is a result of one-off collaboration between Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man and Pointer Brand, an American manufacturer of working clothing (mainly carpenters overalls and jeans) since 1913 from Bristol, Tennessee. The jacket was made for the Spring - Summer 2006 "Re-constructed Workwear" Collection.
A ready-made Pointer Brand carpenter overall was taken apart and then re-assembled into this unique fully reversible jacket with numerous details. The back of the jacket is made by turning inside-out and sewing together parts of the front panel of a ready-made Pointer Brand carpenter overall and features 4 patch pockets and original Pointer-signed buttons. The front of the jacket has 2 large side patch pockets and 2 chest welt pockets, all featuring original Pointer Brand overdyed vintage-treated zip closures. 3 different types of zips. Slightly asymetrical contrasting white stitching.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned.
Fabric Composition: 100% cotton.
Available in Size: Small. Actual measurements when laid flat: Armpit to armpit 20 inches/51 cm, total length (base of collar to bottom) 28 inches/71 cm, shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18 inches/46 cm, inside sleeve 18 inches/46 cm, outside sleeve 24 1/2 inches/62 cm.
