Re-constructed Overdyed Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Pointer Brand Inside-out and Back-to-front Reversible Jacket
This overdyed reversible jacket is a result of the one-off collaboration between Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man and The L. C. King Manufacturing Company, an American manufacturer of bib overalls, coveralls, carpenter jeans, hunting apparel and denim chore coats from Bristol, Tennessee. The company was founded in 1913 by Landon Clayton King, a breeder of champion birddogs, one of which features on the company's logo.
The jacket is from the Spring — Summer 2006 "Re-constructed Workwear" Collection. It is reworked from a ready-made Pointer Brand cotton twill chore coat, which was turned back-to-front and inside-out, re-cut and then re-assembled into this unique fully reversible jacket with numerous details.
The back of the jacket (which used to be the front of an original Pointer Brand coat) has 4 inside pockets (one of which bears the Pointer Brand Birddog logo) and original Pointer-branded buttons. The front of the jacket (former back of a chore coat) has 2 large side patch pockets and 2 chest welt pockets, all featuring original Pointer Brand overdyed vintage-treated zip closures.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned. No imperfections.
Fabric Composition: 100% cotton.
