Re-constructed Garment-dyed Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man x Pointer Brand Blazer / Jacket
This re-constructed overdyed blazer / jacket is a result of one-off collaboration between Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons Man and Pointer Brand, an American manufacturer of working clothing (mainly carpenters overalls and jeans) since 1913 from Bristol, Tennessee. The jacket was made for the Spring - Summer 2006 "Re-constructed Workwear" Collection.
A ready-made Pointer Brand carpenter overall was taken apart and then re-assembled into this unique blazer / jacket with numerous details.
Features: unique fabric texture due to special finish, numerous pockets, original vintage-treated Pointer Brand buttons, original Pointer brand label sewn onto the chest pocket.
Condition: Good pre-owned. Some colour fading on the collar.
Fabric Composition: 100% cotton.
Available in Size: Small. Actual measurements when laid flat: Armpit to armpit 20 inches/51 cm, total length (base of collar to bottom) 29 inches/74 cm, shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18 inches/46 cm, inside sleeve 17 1/2 inches/44.5 cm, outside sleeve 25 1/2 inches/65 cm.
Made in Japan.
