Hand-made Down-filled Moncler Gamme Bleu Bomber Jacket Designed by Thom Browne

This down-filled bomber jacket is from Moncler Gamme Bleu Autumn — Winter 2009 — 2010 collection designed by Thom Browne. The jacket is brand new and comes with a hand-bound Moncler Gamme Bleu booklet.

As with all garments from Moncler Gamme Bleu collections this jacket is completely hand-made from the finest fabrics - the shell is a wool and cashmere mix and the lining is heavyweight supima cotton. The filling is selected goose down with 4 tufts (Afnor G 32003 Regualtion classifies down according to the number of tufts: from 1 to 4), which determines the jacket's unique lightness and exceptional thermal insulation.

The jacket is constructed combining Mocler's expertise in sports and outdoor clothing with intricate traditional tailoring techniques. Pockets filled with down are inserted between the shell fabric and lining and the jacket is then finished by hand-stitching the seams in the tradition of haute couture.

Thom Browne's style is instantly recognizable in the jacket's shape, which fits close to the body yet does not impede the movement. The cut is that of a classic short bomber or flight jacket with a zip front and side pockets, a high wraparound collar and sleeve cuffs. The jacket has 3 internal pockets and finishes at the waist with an elasticated band. All zip fasteners are made by Lampo in Italy.

The jacket features Moncler Gamme Bleu branding — a blue and off-white Moncler logo patch on the left sleeve, Moncler Gamme Bleu label inside and Moncler's logo stamped on custom-made lacquered blue-and-white zip pullers.

Fabric Composition: Shell 95% wool, 5% cashmere, lining 100% cotton, sleeve lining 100% cupro, padding 100% new down.

Available in Sizes: Moncler size 2 (US Medium/Eur 48) and Moncler size 4 (US Large/Eur 52).

The jacket in size 2 measures as follows: armpit to armpit approx. 23 inches/58.5 cm, total length (shoulder seam to bottom) 24 inches/61 cm, shoulder (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) 19 inches/48 cm, outside sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) 26 inches/66 cm, inside sleeve (armpit to cuff) 19 inches/48 cm.

The jacket in size 4 measures as follows: armpit to armpit approx. 25 inches/63.5 cm, total length (shoulder seam to bottom) 26 inches/66 cm, shoulder (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) 20 inches/51 cm, outside sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) 27 inches/68.5 cm, inside sleeve (armpit to cuff) 21 inches/53 cm.
